2022

Evidential Investment Funds officially launched in May 2022, offering the first ESG-focused evidence based global bond PIE fund in New Zealand.

2021

KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme officially launched in December 2020 with our first adviser signed in early February.
Assets under administration reached $6.9b; staff numbers grow to 55.

2020

Over 100 advisers attended the Consilium Partner Firm Conference, with international guest speakers including FNZ founder & CEO Adrian Durham. Synergy digital onboarding goes live. 
Assets under administration reaches $4b; staff numbers grow to 35 (as of June). Professor Ben Marshall, MSA Charitable Trust Chair in Finance at Massey University, replaces Bart Frijns as Consilium's independent academic consultant.

2019

Consilium Wrap service becomes the fastest growing customised FNZ platform globally with over 45 firm transfers completed to date and adding $1.1b to the platform in the last 12 months.
Consilium holds its first Foundations Conference, co-hosted with Dimensional Fund Advisors.

2018

Synergy Investments reaches $300m in the first 3 years. 
Consilium takes on full ownership of Synergy, including DIMS responsibilities. Auckland office opened.

2017

Opened new Cambridge Terrace office in Christchurch. Four new socially responsible investment (SRI) model portfolios are introduced to Synergy.
Consilium Wrap smart rebalancing enhancement released. AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards announces Consilium as finalist.

2016

Milestone of $1b assests under administration reached. Investor behaviour expert Carl Richards (aka the Sketch Guy) joins the team introducing a new visual concept to NZ.
A low cost, multiple term deposit facility was introduced to Consilium Wrap, a first for New Zealand.

2015

Consilium partners with global platform provider FNZ, bringing to New Zealand the first independent platform utilising FNZ enterprise technology, designed for independent financial advisers.
The Synergy Investment programme offering nine model portfolios, is launched. 

2014

The Consilium name is launched. Thirteen firms now utilising the full suite of partner firm services, with those assets under administration growing over the following five years at an annualised growth rate of 31%.
Dr. Bart Frijns, Director of the NZ Institute of Financial Research and Professor of Finance at AUT, joins the Consilium Investment Committee (CIC) as an independent consultant.

2013

Three new partner firms joined our community and we held our first annual NZ Wealth Adviser Conference, beginning a tradition that would grow every year.

2012

With five staff and three partner firm clients, NZ Wealth was established with one purpose - to provide support services designed specifically for the independent adviser community.
The four original staff are still with the company.
