Working for almost 30 years in England as a lawyer, chairman and managing director of large professional services businesses, Stephen has extensive commercial, strategic operational and governance experience in leading and growing businesses.
His London law practice grew rapidly during the 1990s, operating from several offices. Part of the business was then sold to Countrywide plc, a FTSE listed property and financial services company.
As chairman and managing director of one of Countrywide’s five divisions, Stephen grew his business to become the UK’s largest integrated residential property and legal services provider.

In 2004 he undertook a new role as chairman and managing director of a professional services business, leading it to become one of Countrywide’s major competitors. In 2009 Stephen founded Redstone, now one of the UK’s largest wills and probate providers.
