Choose your pre-conference activity!

We are kicking things off with a networking afternoon on Wednesday 8 October, offering a selection of optional social activities listed below.


Option 1 – Golf

Join the waitlist

Fancy yourself a golfer? Come play 18 holes of golf at Clearwater Resort's Championship golf course.

Time & Venue
Meet at Clearwater Resort (Clearwater Avenue, Northwood) at 1:15pm for tee-off at 1:45pm. Finish time to be confirmed.

Club hire covered if required, please indicate when registering.

Shuttle available: Select this option when you register and meet 12:30pm at Consilium offices (83 Victoria Street) if you need transport to the venue. Shuttle may be able to collect from your accommodation, please list this when registering.


Option 2 – Business & wine

Join us on an educational tour of local businesses, ending with a wine tasting on Christchurch's iconic New Regent Street!

Time & Venue
Tour three Christchurch businesses that are driving technological innovation:

  • Ecocentral’s Materials Recovery Facility: Leading the transition to an economically sustainable circular economy for NZ.
  • Fabrum: World leaders in the production of Green Hydrogen as a super fuel.
  • RECENTLY ADDED Banqer: Making strides in financial literacy education through their award-winning online learning platforms.

Finish with wine tasting & nibbles at Downstairs Wine Bar, New Regent Street, run by the wine experts at Red & White Cellar.

Meet at Consilium offices (83 Victoria Street) at 12:30pm for your shuttle pickup. Airport pickup available around 12:50pm, please select this when registering. Event will conclude around 5pm.


Option 3 – Cooking Class

Register for this activity

Roll up your sleeves and learn the art of Italian cooking with a ​​​​​​​pasta-making class! Includes a chef's demonstration.

Time & Venue
Watch how the pros do it while enjoying an Italian inspired entree, then make pasta from scratch and sit down with your new fellow cooks for dinner and dessert. 

Meet at Riverside Kitchen (Upstairs at Riverside - 40/100 Oxford Terrace) at 3pm. Event will include dinner and is due to finish around 6pm... or when all the tiramisu is gone!

Food allergies can be accommodated.

Please respect the time, effort, and resources they have invested by only registering if you fully intend to attend. As these events have capacity limits, we kindly ask that you email marketing@consilium.co.nz as soon as possible if you can no longer make it, so your spot can be offered to someone on the waitlist.

All activities have a capacity limit. Once this capacity is reached, there will be an option to register for the waitlist. If your desired activity is at full capacity, we suggest you join the waitlist and register for another event. If a spot becomes available, we will contact individuals on the waitlist in the order they registered.
